A school for making the music, not reading about it.
Electronic Music Academy taught music production and DJ performance in Melbourne. The lecturers were working producers, label owners and festival people, and the courses were built around how they actually make records.
Classes were short and practical: eight lessons over two months, or a single day if you wanted the crash course. Students finished with an original track or remix, mastered by the people who taught them, and an introduction to the industry they were walking into.
